
Today's average lifetime is 70 years. It would be great being able to extend this time. Everybody probably wants to live until hundred years old or more. Scientists are studying on how to lengthen human lifespan and they think, it is not impossible. Especially some genetic studies are said to give positive results. It is genetic to some extent though, living long is closely related with keeping a good health. Being careful about what to eat and what to not eat, maintaining sporting activities, eliminating excessive stress, taking necessary precautions to prevent diseases and being sociable are keys to a long lifespan. There are some people who have lived for 100 years, 150 years or even more. They are most probably quite careful about their health.
